Attendance

Open the Raptor Safe App and go to your student list. 

An Attendance option appears for students. 

Recording an attendance change 

Tap Attendance and chooses the type of change

Select the date and any relevant time — an arrival time for a late arrival, or a dismissal time for an early dismissal — and submit. Parents receive an on-screen confirmation, using the same confirmation style as an existing dismissal change so it will look familiar to families already using Dismissal. 

If the parent has other students, they can apply the same change to those siblings within the same flow rather than repeating it. 

Viewing and removing a change 

Submitted attendance changes appear on the parent’s in-app calendar alongside any dismissal changes. 

On a day with both, the attendance card appears first and each card can be opened separately. Tapping a card shows the details of that change. 

To remove a change, the parent opens it and deletes it, confirming in the same way as an existing dismissal change. 

Once your cutoff has passed for that day, the delete option disappears. 

The cutoff time for Trinity is 5pm

NOTE There is no edit in this release. 

To correct a change, a parent deletes it and submits a new one. 

What parents cannot do 

Edit an existing change — they delete and re-submit instead 

Submit or remove a same-day change after your cutoff time has passed 

Act on any student they are not directly associated with — carpool and other indirect contacts have no access 

Submit without a connection — the app requires connectivity and shows a standard no-connection message 

Receive push notifications about attendance — confirmation is on-screen only
